Ras International was founded in 1997 to make available the unique roots and cultural products from the Diaspora, namely Jamaica and particularly its indigenous Rastafarian community. Ras International identifies with this community and what it represents, its principles, and authenticity of love, inity, and righteousness.

Ras International has made these values a cornerstone of our business enterprise. Now, with more than 10 years of success, Ras International is expanding its “borders” to reach a globally diverse audience with significant roots & cultural products.

At Ras International, there is a firm belief that everyone is part of a global family. Born in Jamaica, the founder, Irasfree Nyabinghi, believes strongly that culturally unique items are for everyone. Originally offering reggae, ska, rocksteady and calypso music CDs, videos, posters, and books as well as apparel, Ras International has grown and adapted to the market to focus its offerings on apparel and other unique items not easily found.
